Streets Department

The Street Department manages the city's street repairs, as well as, the city parks.

As part of its ongoing effort to maintain and upgrade roadways, the City of Artesia's Infrastructure Department continues to include the street improvement program in the city's capital improvement plans. Improvements are schedule on an annual basis according to need and available resources. Once local, state, and/or federal funding is secured for the year, the department begins implementing it's annual plan. The intent behind planned repairs and upgrades is to protect and extend the life of public streets and right-of-ways. When complete, the safety of motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians will be enhanced and the asphalt roadways will be improved.

  • Street Signs
  • Street Sweeping
