November 4th is election day in Eddy County. While there aren't any federal or state matters on the ballot, there are local items that can make big differences in communities.
Artesia residents will vote on the hospital mill levy, three races for school board seats, and two races for special hospital district board members. One of the school board races and one of the hospital district races are contested. KSVP Radio has done interviews with all the candidates so you can be informed in your vote. Those interviews are available by scrolling on the homepage of their website. You can find the interviews by clicking the following link: KSVP Radio Artesia
The Artesia voting locations are at the Eddy County Sub-Office on 1st street, Central Valley Electric, Faith Baptist Church, and Trinity Temple Church.
Please note that these elections are run by Eddy County, not the city of Artesia. Our elections for city council seats and the mayor will be held in March.
