Mayor Jon Henry issued a proclamation designating October 6 through October 12, 2023 as National PA Week. The proclamation celebrates the incredible contributions of physician assistants/associates (PAs) to our healthcare system.
Healthcare professionals play an increasingly critical role in our world, and PAs are vital to our healthcare teams. Artesia is home to several incredible PAs who are patient-centered and committed to the health and well-being of our community. PAs have a great impact in Artesia's healthcare services and the lives of their patients by helping them understand and improve their health.
The proclamation by Mayor Henry underscores the importance of recognizing and appreciating the dedication, expertise, and compassion demonstrated by physician assistants/associates.
Together, let's celebrate these incredible physician assistants/associates who make a difference in our community and in our individual lives through their invaluable contributions and unwavering commitment to our health.
