Mayor Henry will issue a proclamation for Domestic Violence Awareness Month and present it to Celina Bryant, Executive Director of Grammy’s House, at 10:30 a.m. on October 10, 2022 in Council Chambers at Artesia City Hall, 511 West Texas Avenue, Artesia, New Mexico.
Grammy's House is a domestic violence shelter located in Artesia, New Mexico which seeks to provide a place of safety, education, refuge, and empowerment for victims and child-witness victims of domestic violence. Domestic violence affects communities, families, and individuals across the world in small towns and big cities alike.
