The 42nd annual Balloons and Tunes is here. For the schedule of events this weekend, read below.
Friday - 11/7
- 8AM - Balloons lift from the schools.
- 7PM - Stand-up at the Ocotillo. Tickets are $13 for kids and $23 for adults.
- 7PM - Bulldogs on Revue at the Estelle Yates Auditorium. Tickets are $6.
Saturday - 11/8
- 6AM - Balloon launch from Eagle Draw park between 7th and 13th street.
- 7AM - Inflatable race, bouncy houses and remote-control balloons.
- 7:30AM - Walk for a Brighter Day. Promoting mental health awareness at Eagle Draw.
- 8AM - Artesia Car Enthusiasts Car Club to park at Heritage Plaza. Event will end at 10am.
- 1PM - Oil Patch Market at the Derrick Floor. Ends at 4pm.
- 5PM - Balloons, Bands, & Brews. Free event with live music and beer garden. Ends at 9pm.
- 7PM - Bulldogs on Revue at the Estelle Yates Auditorium. Tickets are $6.
Sunday - 11/9
- 6AM - Balloon launch from Eagle Draw park between 7th and 13th street.
Additionally, New Mexico's first ever urban airstream rally is happening at Heritage Plaza this weekend. The events consist of groups who bring airstream trailers to downtown areas of cities and camp for a period of time. Often during these events, rallygoers will give back to the area they're camping. The group at Heritage Plaza is gathering donations of blankets, socks, and more for local students.
