New stop signs are being added to the intersection of Bowman and Richey. The intersection will now be a 3-way stop. The stop signs are being installed on Oct. 31st.
In addition to the stop signs, our teams added 2,000 feet of sidewalk to the southside of Richey, west of Bowman. We have also added 1,500 feet of sidewalk on the west side of Bowman between Bush and Gilchrest.
The sidewalk addition to Bowman means that there's now sidewalk on both sides of the street all the way down Bowman from Richey to J.J. Clarke. This is especially helpful for those in the area walking to school, the aquatic center, and the future rec center.
