On Friday, May 23rd Mayor Henry signed a proclamation declaring the week of May 18th-24th as National EMS Week.
The proclamation recognizes our emergency medical services teams that are ready 24/7 to provide care. Their work saves lives and dramatically helps the recovery rate of the sick and seriously injured, which improves their long-term quality of life.
We were happy to be joined by friends for the celebration, including Carlsbad Fire, Eddy County Fire and Rescue, Hagerman EMS, and Trans Aero Medevac.
We'd also like to thank Western Bank Artesia for providing the catering for the celebration.
