City of Artesia Infrastructure Department administration offices and facilities will be closed on December 25th & 26th, 2023 in observance of Christmas and open regular hours Dec 27th, 28th & 29th.
Some services will have an adjusted schedule to accommodate for the holiday.
Solid Waste:
- Transfer Station open Saturday 12/23 Regular Hours (7am-3:45pm) No routes will be ran.
- Closed Sunday 12/24 & Monday 12/25
- Open Tuesday 12/26 All routes will be ran. (poly carts, commercial, residential)
- Wednesday 12/27 (finish up what needs to be done and back to regular schedule)
- Thursday 12/28 (regular schedule, residential)
- Friday 12/29 (regular schedule, commercial & poly cart)
Cemetery:
Gates will be opened/closed automatically with staff on call.
Water Department
Staff are on call for emergencies. Streets and Parks will have an on-call employee.
