Arraignments, or first appearances on citation, are set for 7:30 AM, Monday through Thursday unless the Court is closed.
All other hearing types (hearing, sentencing, trials) are usually set individually. The defendant will be provided with a Notice of Hearing, specifying the date and time to appear.
If you are not able to appear on the scheduled date and time to appear, contact the Artesia Municipal Court at 575-746-9401 to see if the hearing can be rescheduled, to avoid potential consequences from failing to appear.
